Since before the founding of the United States of America in 1776 women have served courageously beside their male comrades from Bunker Hill to Afghanistan providing material and moral support, medical services, spies and as combat soldiers against our nation’s enemies.

Heroines of the Revolution including Molly Pitcher, Margret Corbin, Deborah Sampson, Lydia Darragh, Nancy Hart, Anna Warner, Martha Washington, Abigail Adams, Anna Strong, Rachel and Grace Martin are a testament to their courage and valor.

The first Women Veterans Day was held June 12, 2018, marking the 70th anniversary of the groundbreaking Women’s Armed Services Integration Act, signed into law by President Harry S. Truman on June 12, 1948. The law enabled women to serve as permanent members of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force.

A heartfelt Thank You to all the Women Patriots who have served and continue to serve our great Nation!
